In addition to his pastoral work, Father Hunter is actively involved at Marian University, where he mentors and inspires young minds. About
Father Douglas Hunter is a Catholic priest for the Archdiocese of Indianapolis, serving as Pastor of Saint Roch Catholic Church and Chaplain for the Indianapolis Colts and Southport Police Department.
Before entering the seminary, he spent fourteen years in law enforcement with the Marion County Sheriff’s Department and the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department, where he helped lead Crime Prevention and Youth Education programs.
He holds a Master of Divinity and a Master of Catholic Philosophical Studies from Saint Meinrad Seminary and earned his undergraduate degree in Business Administration from Marian University.
